Step 1: Log Into Your WordPress Dashboard
The first step in changing your domain name is logging into your WordPress dashboard.Step 2: Go To Settings
Once in your dashboard, you will need to go to your settings. This can be found on the left-hand side of the page under "Tools."Step 3: Click On General
After selecting "Settings" in the previous step, a drop-down with multiple options will appear. On the left-hand side of this drop-down, click on "General" or make sure it is highlighted.Step 4: Change Your URL
In the middle of the page, you will want to find the two fields that contain your current URL. For most people, this will be "WordPress Address" and "Site Address." Edit these fields, so your new URL address appears in the first field. Change your Site Address to the same as your WordPress Address.

The last step in this process is to save your changes. You may get a prompt that says, "Settings saved." If you do, select "OK" and proceed to save.There you have it! Your new domain name will now be the same as your WordPress URL.
